Louis Hotels to offer free PCR test to tourists at their hotels in Cyprus
Louis Hotels is actively strengthening its efforts to stimulate the tourist flow to Cyprus, taking into consideration the restrictions applied by each country. In this context, they are announcing that they will offer free molecular PCR testing, based on the protocols required for tourists returning back to their country of residence.
With the implementation of this innovation, Louis Hotels is the first in the Cypriot tourism sector to announce this initiative. Tourists who will stay this summer at a Louis Hotel in Cyprus for a period of 7 nights or more will secure a free Covid Test. For those with a shorter length of stay, Louis Hotels will subsidise the Covid Test offering it to them at a very low price. The company has already signed an agreement with accredited laboratories that will carry out the examination in a special area in each Louis Hotel in order to avoid any inconvenience for the guests. Louis Hotels will also provide weekly Covid testing for all staff at each of their hotels, thus ensuring even greater safety for its customers.
Currently, residents of countries that are in the red category, in order to travel to Cyprus are required to have a negative molecular test in their country, as well as a PCR test upon arrival in Cyprus. When returning home, they are asked to take a third test, which will be provided by Louis Hotels free of charge. The complimentary molecular test will also be provided to any guests of Louis Hotels staying for more than 7 nights, who require a Covid Test upon their return to their country, irrespective of which category their county is at the time, red, orange or green.
In case a positive case is detected in the units during the PCR testing, then the strict health protocols applied by the company in its facilities will be activated immediately.
